Company gives 130 libraries

United Technologies Corp has donated 130 libraries to elementary schools in rural China this year as part of its continuing partnership with The Library Project. Supported by the China Population Welfare Foundation and local communities, the China UTC Library Project aims to help rural schools obtain necessary educational resources and build teaching skills. The project has benefited 62,630 students and 3,820 teachers across 12 provinces and autonomous regions since it began in 2011.
