Language studies give chance for top-level exchange

Wu Jiang has just finished his last semester, majoring in the Malaysian language, at Beijing Foreign Studies University.

"I thought I would just be studying a language," he said. "But it was more like a lively internship in the United Nations."

Like many students, especially those taking language courses, Wu has found that college life presents plenty of opportunities to meet leading international figures.
