Trip to China makes dream come true

This summer will live for many a year in the memory of Yuan Xianteng, 12.

The girl moved to Canada with her parents six months after she was born in China, and this was her first time back to attend a summer camp aptly named what translates as "The Root-Seeking Tour".

Organized by Shaanxi province, the camp gathered 100 overseas Chinese between ages 12 and 21 from various countries, including Denmark, Spain, Belgium, the United States and Canada.
