Chinese writer finds natural connection with New Zealand

Editor's note: A year after they got married, Liu Encheng, web editor and journalist, and his wife Wang Qianqian went to New Zealand in 2011 on working holiday visas. In 2013, they published a book providing tips to young people eager to travel with such visas in New Zealand. He spoke to China Daily's He Dan about his experiences.

It was 2011 and both my wife and I had turned 28. Although we had graduated from college four years earlier, we decided to take a gap year to explore the world by applying for working holiday visas in New Zealand.
