Though Chinese tourists picked Australia as their most desirable overseas destination, they are instead traveling to the United States, a new survey revealed on Tuesday. According to a Hotels.com survey of 3,000 Chinese international travelers, Australia was higher than France, New Zealand, the United States and Switzerland on the travelers' wish lists, as reported by the Australian Broadcasting Corp. But the United States, Hong Kong and Thailand were the top three destinations that most Chinese tourists actually traveled to. Australia ranked 11th.
