Sowing seeds of danger
The Japanese military attacked Darwin, Australia, in dozens of air raids following its sneak attack against Pearl Harbor during World War II, and some 17,000 Australians died in the fight against Japan.
Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott, however, recently expressed admiration for Japan's WWII military prowess. Such prowess, showcasing Japanese soldiers' brutality and blind will to perish, their generals launching of sneak attacks and their leaders playing with diplomacy as decoys for war, should be abhorred by all peace-loving people with a sense of justice. Abbott is bringing shame to Australia if he has chosen to do the opposite.
