Capital picks road for public lessons on traffic

A 3.5-kilometer road that begins at the intersection of Hongmiao and Qingnian roads was selected as the first "Running No Red Lights" road in the city, according to the Beijing News. The road was designed for the public to understand how to obey traffic rules. Volunteers will be on duty from 7-9 am and from 5-7 pm every day to Aug 7 to offer guidance to drivers and pedestrians. Officials from Chaoyang district said they selected this road because of its congested traffic.
