7,313 smuggling cases
China's customs authorities investigated 7,313 cases of smuggling nationwide in the first five months of this year. Of the total, 1,045 of them were criminal cases. Customs officials seized 385.1 kg of drugs with 211 cases of smuggling drugs under investigation during the period, the General Administration of Customs said.
