Four prosecuted for Kunming terrorist attack

Four people will face trial for their involvement in a terrorist attack at a railway station in Kunming on March 1, China's top procuratorate announced on Monday. The Kunming Municipal People's Procuratorate found that the suspects were involved in organizing, leading or taking part in the terrorist attack as well as intentional homicide, said a statement issued by the Supreme People's Procuratorate. A group of assailants armed with knives attacked civilians at the railway station, causing 29 deaths and injuring another 143.
