The average daily number of people diagnosed with cancer in Beijing in 2012, according to an annual health white paper released by the Beijing government on Thursday. A total of 40,307 cases of cancer were reported in 2012 in the city, up 3.22 percent year-on-year, according to the Beijing Health and Family Planning Commission.
