Q: As far as we know, Central China Normal University has made great efforts in teaching innovation. What is your goal for the future of teacher training?

Yang: Our aim is to train digital teachers individually. First of all, we must establish a digital campus, digital classrooms and a management system for the digital environment to build a good foundation. Second, establishing an appropriate training program to suit the information era is necessary.

Our school started a new training program last year to encourage teachers to give time back to students and make students the center of the class. In the digital age, learning can be achieved anywhere at anytime - the library, Internet classrooms, courseware, and so on.
