26,300 foreigners
The number of foreigners traveling to the Tibet autonomous region increased by over 13 percent year-on-year in the first five months of 2014, local authorities said on Saturday. About 26,300 foreigners visited the plateau region, an increase of 13.3 percent from the same period last year, the regional Tourism Bureau said.
