Hainan Special:Movie town opening to boost film and cultural industries

The Mission Hills Movie Town, a film-themed tourism joint venture by Chinese director Feng Xiaogang and film production company Huayi Brothers, opened in Haikou, the capital of Hainan province.
More than 100 well-known domestic movie stars including Jackie Chan, Ge You and Andy Lau attended the opening ceremony on June 7.
The 90-hectare theme park is at Mission Hills, China's highest rated golf and leisure resort, and offers movie-themed sightseeing and shopping facilities.
