Italian cooperation continues in trade

Italy is one of China's most important business and trade partners in the European Union.

For a long time bilateral cooperation between the two countries has focused on trade and China's use of investment and technology from the Italian side.

After the international financial crisis and the European debt crisis Chinese investment in Italy increased substantially, strengthening bilateral business ties further.
