Robber sentenced to life in prison
A woman was sentenced to life imprisonment on Monday for robbing two elderly victims, Jinghua Times reported. Gao Yan, from Jilin province, robbed a 76-year-old woman on Jan 17, 2013; the victim died from heart disease six days later. Gao also robbed and injured another elderly woman on Nov 11, 2012. She said the two women wore gold earrings and she followed them to commit the robberies.
