Rex Tso learned the painful price of perfection on Saturday night in Macao.
The flashy super flyweight from Hong Kong retained his WBO Asia Pacific title and improved to 13-0 with a 10-round unanimous decision over Thailand's Ratchasak Kokietgym (22-3-1) at the Venetian Resort's Cotai Arena - but he had to twice pick himself off the canvas to earn the victory.
Tso came out strong, staggering Kokietgym in the opening round with a series of powerful inside combinations, but the Thai veteran recovered nicely in the second, using a stiff jab to keep Tso on the outside.
