By Zhuan Ti | China Daily | Updated: 2014-05-30 06:59

Gao'an, a city neighboring Nanchang, the capital of East China's Jiangxi province, is on the lookout for investors.

The 2,439 square kilometer ancient city, which is 42 kilometers from Nanchang and has a population of 900,000, has long been touted as the "pearl" of Ganzhong, or central Jiangxi province.

The Jiangxi provincial government announced plans to move their offices to a western suburb of Nanchang, which is expected to benefit the nearby Gao'an.
