Ex-head of traffic bureau investigated

The former head of the Beijing Traffic Management Bureau is being investigated for a serious discipline violation, Beijing's top anti-corruption organ announced on Tuesday.

The Beijing Discipline Inspection Commission made the announcement on its website but didn't say what discipline breach Song Jianguo is suspected of committing.

According to Beijing Morning Post, Song was removed from his post as the director in March 2013. He was promoted to the position in 2008.
