Wage-earners in 15 major cities were paid 2.4 percent more in the first quarter compared to last year, said a report released by the China Finance Corp and Seebon Human Resources Co on Friday. The rise in wages beat the country's 2.3-percent inflation level in the period between January to March but was a decline from the 4.66 percent in 2013.
