145 explosive devices

One hundred forty-five explosive devices left by Japanese and Chinese troops during World War II were cleared from in and around Changde, Hunan province, on Tuesday, local authorities said. The explosive devices, which were recovered from construction sites and ponds over the past five years in the city, were detonated at Baishi village, said Wu Linfang, a police officer from the municipal public security bureau. The explosives included grenades and a 300-kg hexagon-shaped homemade bomb.
