Qingdao's Sino-German Eco-Park is an example of the city's efforts to use German experience for its sustainable development.
The park was built under an agreement between top leaders of both nations. It is the first "smart" eco-park jointly developed by the two countries.
When completed, the 11.6 sq km eco-friendly industrial park is expected to host 60,000 people.
