Emerging markets are key to transformation

Emerging markets in Latin American, the Caribbean and Central and Eastern European countries will play a key role in transforming and upgrading China's overseas project contracting business, experts said.

The China International Contractors Association said the public-private partnership proved to be the best business model to do this.

The construction of large scale infrastructure facilities in the Latin America and Caribbean region is in its infancy.
