Official dismissed from office over graft

Liao Shaohua, a former top leader of Zunyi, Guizhou province, has been expelled from the Communist Party of China and dismissed from public office, the CPC discipline inspection agency said on Thursday. Investigations found that Liao used his positions to seek profit and that he accepted bribes, according to a statement from the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.
