Lin Senhao, a 28-year-old postgraduate student from Fudan University's School of Medicine in Shanghai, as quoted by his lawyer, according to the Beijing Times. Lin was sentenced to death in Shanghai on Feb 18 for fatally poisoning his roommate, Huang Yang, using their dorm's water cooler on April 1, 2013. Lin is appealing and awaiting a second trial.
