Holiday's roadside litter a heavy burden
More than 290 maintenance workers picked up 30 tons of roadside rubbish during the May Day holiday that had been tossed from vehicles, Legal Evening News reported on Monday. The weight of the rubbish collected this year exceeded the same period last year by 20 percent, according to the Beijing Capital Highway Development Group.
