5.5 million tourists
visited Beijing's 150 major scenic spots during the three-day May Day holiday, the capital's tourism authorities reported. The historical and cultural scenic areas as well as amusement venues received 3.2 million tourists, a slight increase compared with the same period last year, the Beijing Tourism Development Commission said.
