Web users mourn young firemen

Netizens on Friday mourned two firemen who died trying to extinguish a blaze in a downtown high-rise residential building on Thursday.

Mourners had left more than 82,000 comments as of 9 pm on the last post of Qian Lingyun, one of the firemen, on Sina Weibo, China's Twitter-like micro-blogging service.

They also reposted the message more than 56,000 times. Qian's post contained six pictures showing him training at a fire station in Shanghai.
