China opposes US sanctions

China on Wednesday voiced its "firm opposition" to US sanctions against Chinese enterprises and individuals. The US has accused a Chinese businessman of violating sanctions against Iran by selling missile parts. Foreign Affairs Ministry spokesman Qin Gang said the Chinese government attaches great importance to nonproliferation and the US concerns should be addressed through law-enforcement cooperation with China.
