Li thanks Abbott, re-avows commitment

China Daily | Updated: 2014-05-01 07:28

Premier Li Keqiang told Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott on Wednesday that China will continue to do its best in the search for the missing Malaysia Airline Flight MH370.

Li expressed appreciation for Australia's efforts in coordinating the search in the south Indian Ocean and its great support to the Chinese ships and aircraft involved.

As the search has entered a new phase with the focal point shifting underwater search to a far larger area of the Indian Ocean floor, Li said Chinese vessels will continue searching along with ships from Australia and Malaysia for any sign of the jetliner.
