Xi'an steps forward to help revive Silk Road

Logistic linking hub key to developing modernized trade route between East and West

Xi'an, the capital of Shaanxi province, is expected to play a bigger role in the Silk Road economic belt development strategy as a linking hub between China and Europe.

Han Song, deputy mayor of the city and Party secretary of Xi'an International Trade and Logistics Park working committee, said that passageway construction was the pivotal factor to promote the development.
