Workers' welfare stressed as premier pops the questions

Premier Li Keqiang lost no time in asking a series of questions to show his concern for employees' well-being during his three-day visit to Chongqing.

His inquiries were aimed at enabling him to check the pulse of the nation's economic growth at the grassroots level.

Li met employees from different sectors, ranging from a labor-intensive call center to a construction company and a high-tech firm.
