Many schools in Jiangsu province are introducing games, including traditional ones, to students to ease the pressure of schoolwork.

Some primary school teachers in Nanjing, the provincial capital, have created and recorded more than 100 games in a book for the students to play in school.

Gu Li, director of the Nanjing primary school training center, said traditional Chinese games that are unfamiliar to children nowadays, such as The Eagle Catches Chicks and Jumping With A Rope, have been recorded in the game book.
