Bayer boosts investments, strengthens ties and expands products

For Bayer HealthCare, China is a marketplace for sales growth, but also a source of innovation, which maintains the pharmaceutical company's sustainable growth in the global market.
Bayer Healthcare, a subsidiary of Bayer AG, announced sales of 1.46 billion euros ($1.74 billion) in China in 2013, a year-on-year increase of about 10 percent.
The growth was largely down to sales of cardiovascular and diabetes treatments.
