Man detained after cyclist hits him and dies

A man was detained for not helping a motorcyclist who hit him and later died, Jinling Evening News reported on Wednesday. The man, surnamed Li, was walking across a vehicle lane in Nanjing when he was hit on April 17. Li was not hurt, but the 75-year-old motorcyclist sustained severe injuries from his fall to the ground and later died in a hospital. Police said Li broke the traffic law.
