New police drama opens in theaters

That Demon Within, a thriller based on a series of cases that killed three policemen in Hong Kong, premiered in the mainland on April 18. Director Dante Lam, known for his action pictures, such as Unbeatable and The Viral Factor, summons two veteran Hong Kong actors Daniel Wu and Nick Cheung to bring the story onto the big screen. Wu plays a policeman haunted by the fact that he unwittingly saved the life of a criminal gang leader by donating his blood. The rest of his life was dedicated to one thing: to capture the gang lord at any price. Cheung plays the gang leader.
