Micro-blogger Xue granted bail

Xue Charles Bi-Chuen, a micro-blogger arrested in August on allegations of having group sex with prostitutes, has been granted bail with restricted liberty of movement, Beijing police said on Wednesday.

The police said on its micro blog that, given the fact that Xue has a serious disease, the police decided to grant him bail.

Xue had been under detention since his arrest, and it was not clear when he will be tried.
