Efforts in education, environment for sustainable future

A world leader in electronic products and systems, Japan's Toshiba now views education as one of its key social responsibilities in China, said a senior executive.

"Supporting education has always been a long-term goal for Toshiba," said Teruo Kiriyama, Toshiba's corporate representative for China.

"We aim to promote careers in such fields as cultural communication, academic cooperation and school infrastructure.
