82 officials in graft probe

Eighty-two officials, including nine at vice-ministerial level and above, have been investigated during a disciplinary inspection, the People's Daily website reported on Friday. To fight corruption, the Party has held two rounds of inspections since May, sending senior officials to provincial regions, ministries, State-run institutions and big State-owned enterprises to find irregularities. The third round of inspections began early this week.
