Mickelson sputters at Texas Open

Phil Mickelson shot a 5-over 77 on Thursday at the Texas Open to fall nine strokes back during the suspended first round. Pat Perez and Danny Lee shot 4-under 68s at TPC San Antonio to share the clubhouse lead. The start was delayed nearly three hours because of fog, and 45 players were unable to finish the round. The 77 was Mickelson's highest score since a 78 at last year's PGA Championship.
