Forbidden City to limit visitation

The Palace Museum, also known as Forbidden City, unveiled plans on Wednesday to limit the number of visitors for security reasons. The plans, released during a public hearing, include disallowing peak-season visits by annual ticket holders, a seven-day promotion of ticket sales for afternoon visits from July to August and online advance sales of tickets during festivals and holidays.
