Legendary army going to Indiana

China Daily | Updated: 2014-03-25 08:33

The legendary Terracotta Warriors and other rare Chinese relics will be displayed in the Children's Museum of Indianapolis in Indiana from May 10 to Nov 2.

Cao Wei, director of the Emperor Qinshihuang Mausoleum Site Museum, said most of the 120 relics were unearthed during the excavation of pits next to the tomb of the first Qin Dynasty (221-206 BC) emperor.

"We hope to introduce the history of ancient and contemporary Chinese culture to the US, especially to children and their families," Cao said.
