Rotterdam Port links world via trade

By Li Fusheng | China Daily | Updated: 2014-03-25 07:17

China and the Netherlands will forge even closer economic ties as bilateral trade continues to grow, foreign affairs experts say.

Statistics show the trade volume between the two countries hit more than $70 billion in 2013, a 3.6 percent increase from the previous year.

Growth in trade between the two nations outpaced that of China's overall trade with the European Union in 2013, said Yu Peng, a researcher at the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation.
