Li urges officials to make advances in agriculture

Premier Li Keqiang has asked all regions and departments to work harder on agricultural production in the spring during a State Council work conference in Jining on Friday. He said spring is the start of the year and that agriculture should come first. Li added that the quality and quantity of production in spring play a major role in achieving year-end goals. During the meeting, Li also reiterated the importance of forest and grassland fire prevention as well as animal disease prevention and control.
