Sino-US ventures grow

A growing number of US higher education institutions are establishing partnerships with Chinese schools.

One of the most visible products of such partnerships is Shanghai New York University, jointly established in 2012 by Shanghai-based East China Normal University and New York University.

SNYU is China's first Sino-US university to operate as an independent legal entity. Its teaching model and international courses have drawn a great deal of attention across the country.
