The number of newly registered companies in China in the two weeks since March 1, when reform in the corporate registered capital system was launched. The figure is an increase of 36.1 percent from a year ago, according to the State Administration of Industry and Commerce. China amended and abolished a number of business regulations to make the market more accessible. The government also lifted restrictions on minimum registered capital.
