Man detained for airport bomb joke

A young man got five days in jail for joking at a security checkpoint that he was carrying a bomb in his trousers, news portal people.com.cn reported on Tuesday. As he was checking in at Terminal 3 of Beijing Capital International Airport at around 5 pm on Monday, the man, surnamed Yang, kept complaining about the slow process and told one guard he was carrying a bomb. Although he later said it was a joke, the security checkpoint was closed for more than 10 minutes and passengers were evacuated.
