Portable automatic infusion device

The Stomatological Hospital of the Fourth Military Medical University in Xi'an recently announced its researchers had invented a new type of portable automatic infusion device. Most hospitalized patients need infusion treatment, but traditional infusion devices rely on the gravity of medicinal liquid to drip into the patient's body. It is very inconvenient for patients to move around while getting an infusion. The new device uses micro-electronic power, and is small and easy to operate. The device is the result of 13 years of research by the hospital's anesthesiology specialist Xu Lixian and his researchers, and has received a patent from the State Intellectual Property Office.
