Guidelines coming soon for Yangtze development belt
China is likely to introduce guidelines on the development of an economic belt along the Yangtze River within this year, the Economic Information Daily reported on Monday, citing an unidentified source. The National Development and Reform Commission, the top planning agency, has finished drafting the guidelines. The economic belt will cover 11 provinces and cities including Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Hubei, Hunan, Chongqing and Shanghai.
