Geneva showroom
Although without local automobile brands and manufacturers, Switzerland becomes the focal point of the global auto industry every March when Geneva hosts one of the world's top auto shows. It provides a venue for manufacturers to present their latest dazzling luxury designs and advanced technologies. The exposition, which will run from March 5 to 17, has historically been a place to showcase the leading edge of world design, and the new models making their debut at the 84th Geneva International Motor Show are proof that this year is no exception.

BMW 2-Series Active Tourer. The arrival of the BMW 2-Series Active Tourer indicated BMW expands its portfolio into another new model segment. The newcomer in the premium compact class skillfully blends comfort and functionality of space with the BMW's unique strengths of dynamism, style and elegance. Following the Coupe as the second member of the new BMW 2-Series range, the Active Tourer combines its extremely compact dimensions with adaptability, practicality and highly dynamic design and cuts a sporty and elegant figure from every angle. New turbocharged engines with three and four cylinders, a comprehensive package of the BMW EfficientDynamics technologies, and the extensive connectivity provided by BMW ConnectedDrive are all formative elements in a driving experience that centers on sporty performance and exemplary efficiency.

Qoros 3 Hatch. A year after the debut of new international car brand Qoros, the Chinese company globally presented its second production model, the Qoros 3 Hatch, at the 2014 show. The design and engineering of the compact Qoros 3 Hatch draws heavily on the brand's first model, the Qoros 3 Sedan. While it is similarly inspired by contemporary European automotive styling themes, it displays a subtle, youthful evolution of the distinctive signature Qoros design cues to inject greater sportiness into the car's appearance. As part of Qoros' strategic objective to be creative in meeting the lifestyle needs of the modern metropolitan "always-connected" consumers, the majority of the lineup will feature QorosQloud, which delivers a comprehensive suite of free-for-life services with 3G connectivity, including vehicle monitoring, social networking and enhanced navigation.
