Member of the European Parliament Crescenzio Rivellini hailed China's "modern, dynamic" political leaders for having "most influenced the international context" over the past 12 months.

Rivellini, 59, who chairs the influential delegation for relations with the People's Republic of China, said the Chinese leadership's determination in the face of major challenges in implementing the reform agenda is impressive.
